Helping Animal Victims of Hurricane Katrina

I heard  news reporters down in New Orleans said the town was eerily quiet save for the mewing and barking of the animals left stranded. These terrified abandoned animals will die of thirst and starvation.

Likely all of us have already donated money to the Red Cross or some other organization. But if you can find it in your hearts, please consider doing what you can for the other orphans of the storm. There are thousands of lives at stake, and I personally believe their suffering matters.
